  • A Notary is responsible for checking the identification of the Signer(s) and authenticating that he or she is who they say they are making them a crucial service in many professional undertakings.. Furthermore, a Notary does not authenticate the validity of the document.

  • A Remote Notary is a legally commissioned notary public who is authorized to conduct notarizations over the internet via digital tools and a live audio/video camera.

    Remote Notarization require that a client answer identity challenge questions, before they may sign a document. This ensures that the customer is who they claim to be. Also, because it is conducted online, a remote notarization can be recorded; letting anyone verify that the transaction has taken place once it is complete.

  • For general notarization, you will need to provide a Driver’s License, a State Identification Card, Military Card or Government Identification. It must be the original form of Identification, no scan, copies, or phones may be used for identification. Any other individual who will sign the document with their proper ID as well. Finally, you will also need the document that you intend to have notarized.

  • Almost any document can be notarized. However, exceptions are vital records such as a birth, marriage and death certificates. As a Notary, I cannot make or certify copies of these records. You must go to the government agency that issued the certificate to get copies.
